Nitrogen is a church planting network that has emerged out of IMPACT and the West Michigan District of the Wesleyan Church. IMPACT is a church plant that launched in the Fall of 2003 by an adventurous band of Christ-followers with the purpose and vision of planting three churches in five years and ten in ten.
With the birth of Epic, Encounter, Ignite and Pathway (a grand daughter) and the developing of four new multiplication projects currently, God is doing an incredible work of raising-up bands of Christ-followers who are raising-up bands of Christ-followers. Through the West Michigan District of the Wesleyan Church, Nitrogen has been a part of planting 20 churches from 2000-2010 and has truly experienced the infancy of a multiplication movement. Nitrogen has developed out of the best practices of recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and networking church planters. Nitrogen mobilizes key leaders, teams, churches, districts, prayer, renewal and capital to move the movement of church multiplication in North America and beyond.
As Nitrogen continues to develop out of Impact and the West Michigan District, it is currently expanding to be a part of initiating church planting movements in the East Michigan District, the South Carolina District, Western New York, Western Pennsylvania, Chesapeake and the Shenandoah Districts within The Wesleyan Church.
